Merry Christmas! We are so thankful this time of year for all of our many blessings. Mark is thankful to have his MBA and to be done with school forever! He’s also thankful to be working for the church in the Planning Division as a Product Manager. Krista is thankful to be able to stay home with 3 rambunctious boys everyday. She enjoys serving in the Primary Presidency. She was also grateful to get away to Mexico with her hubby in May. Jaxon is 5 and thankful for preschool. He’s getting so smart especially with math J and is constantly trying to learn new things. He’s also thankful for sports, video games, and cutting things out. Dylan is almost 3 and thankful for life. He finds joy in the little things like going shopping, playing outside, and cuddling with mom. He cracks us up with his emerging vocabulary and is convinced his name is spelled DYU (like BYU)! Bradyn is 5 months and I think he is thankful for everything. He’s such a pleasant

Our Adorable Monkey Bradyn Jaxon's preschool class (he's Darth Vader) Jax (Darth Vader) and Dylan (Captain America) This time the costumes were switched. (they went back and forth for each time we dressed up. Dylan had no interest in the Ninja costume we had for him- just the two bigger costume options like Jaxon!) And last but not least, the happy couple of Esmerelda and Quasimoto!

family update

Wow the time flies. Bradyn's 2 months old today. I won't know his actual weight til friday but I'm gonna guess he's at least 90th percentile! He's a little chubsy ubsy but I think he's adorable. He's starting to smile and coo at us and get 7 hours stretch of sleep at night! Jaxon started his 2nd year of preschool at Mrs. Petts and is loving it. He also just turned 5 years old and had a star wars birthday. Dylan's biggest highlight is he's potty trained!!! Such a relief to only have one in diapers! The boys are in a bunk bed now but it turned out working out better with Dylan on top bunk. Go figure! Mark's enjoying being completely done with school and is enjoying his work at the Church Office Building. And I'm finally catching up on my blog! Uh oh- the kids are home again- I'll post pictures next time :)

So I realized I've been hogging Bradyn all to myself and not sharing him so today I will. He's such a good baby and we've loved having him in our home these past almost 4 weeks. (wow, I can't believe it's been that long!) We were started on the morning after my birthday (July 21st) and had him that afternoon. He was a whopping 8 lbs 3 oz and 21 inches long with a load of hair! Jaxon and Dylan love having a new baby brother -a little too much sometimes ;)

Cancun trip

We just took a weekend trip to Cancun, Mexico to celebrate Mark's MBA. It was a blast and a great getaway. I just finished making a photobook of it and my sil Kristin made a slideshow so here's the links to those if you'd like to see more about our trip! photobook smilebox slideshow

spring fun!

ok so since I only post every couple of months, here's some of our favorite pictures in the last few weeks. First, spring fever hit and we've pulled out the bikes. I don't know if they have more fun riding the bikes or getting spiffed up with their glasses, gloves, and helmets! Here's a few of our favorite pics from the aquarium trip. Paul, Alyssa, and Caitlyn came with us and we hit Cabelas as well. The kids loved the animals and fish and the men loved Cabelas. You may ask so what'd the women love then? Well, since I'm pregnant, my highlight was dinner at Olive Garden- you can never go wrong there! Yesterday we went to Discovery Gateway's museum with Ginger, Kenny, and their kids. Once again the kids had a blast! They don't get to see the cousins very often and what a fun place to play together! here's Dylan dressing himself- in a yw basketball jersey nonetheless. He was cracking me up! Lastly, here's the boys in their new Easter outfit

Worst Mom Ever

That's how I feel whenever I looked at Dylan today. He's got quite the shiner from falling off Jaxon's bed last night. Ok so it was more like a dive after jumping on his bed- right into the corner of the dresser drawer. Poor kid. I know it's just an accident and there's nothing I could've done short of sticking him in a straightjacket to to stop him from being his crazy self, but I hate seeing my kid in such pain and feeling so helpless! He was pretty mad at us too- he wouldn't cuddle with either Mark or I after we iced if for a minute. He set up his blanky and sippy cup right in the middle of the floor and would pout/glare at us when we tried to talk to him. It's NOT my fault Dylan!! But he seemed great today as we went on Jaxon's field trip to the treehouse museum. I'll post pictures of that too- as well as the dinosaur park we went to a couple weeks ago and snow days in SV. Poor Dylan... Other Treehouse Museum Pictures Snow Days in SV
