Dylan's First Birthday!

So I know it was just Christmas and I should be posting those pictures, but I wanted to do Dylan's birthday more. I can't believe how fast this year has gone and Dylan is already 1 year old! We had a couple celebrations for him: one at each of the grandparent's houses and one here.





This was my first attempt at making a birthday cake in a different shape. I'm excited with how it turned out.

5 minutes later... I'm actually impressed it's only on his face and not in his hair and everywhere!


Jaxon knew we were wrapping Dylan's present downstairs so when we turned our backs for a second, he ran down and was so excited when we found him next to the unwrapped slide wanting to go up and down on it. Instead, he had to help me rewrap it and wait for Dylan.


Dylan loves it almost as much as Jax!


Mom had some kazoos that Dylan loved making noise with!


These last 3 are of us eating that day at Bubbas in Jackson after swimming. Think the boys were worn out?

Happy Birthday Jaxon! I can't believe he's 4 years old already. Man how time flies and yet, it's hard to imagine our lives without him. He's getting so big! We are so proud of the little man he's becoming. Lucky boy got to have 4 birthday celebrations: a transformers combined birthday with Bobbi in Star Valley, a pirate birthday party with the Hirschi bunch, Arctic Circle playland with his friends today, and of course birthday morning with his, mom, dad, and Dylan. Merry Christmas! We are so thankful this time of year for all of our many blessings. Mark is thankful to have his MBA and to be done with school forever! He’s also thankful to be working for the church in the Planning Division as a Product Manager. Krista is thankful to be able to stay home with 3 rambunctious boys everyday. She enjoys serving in the Primary Presidency. She was also grateful to get away to Mexico with her hubby in May. Jaxon is 5 and thankful for preschool. He’s getting so smart especially with math J and is constantly trying to learn new things. He’s also thankful for sports, video games, and cutting things out. Dylan is almost 3 and thankful for life.
